Stars and Stripes

This is a small painting I did Saturday Morning at a bayou I discovered in Millville, Florida. I was drawn to the nice contrast that was created by the white of the boats against the dark foliage and water. I especially like the American flag flying on the blue boat, hence the title, "Stars and Stripes." I will be painting at this location again very soon. 6" x 8" oil on linen.
